Chippison is a rated 5 star stallion, approved by the Horse Sport Ireland studbook.

Chippison was one of the few traditional Irish Sport Horses standing that has competed at International Level. With all the foreign imports being introduced for breeding in Ireland today it is hard for breeders, buyers and riders alike to find a top Irish performance stallion to breed from.

Chippison performed at the very top level in the world by competing at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen in 2006, jumping clear to help the Irish team to 6th place at the games and finishing as the leading Irish combination. He was mainly campaigned abroad and a member of the Irish team since 2002, having won numerous prizes at top international shows in Europe and Canada.
