About Clare Equestrian Centre

Clare Equestrian Centre is owned and run by John & Marie Burke, offering top class facilities in a central location only 4 minutes from the M18 motorway and just 11 minutes from Ennis town.

Clare Equestrian Centre is also an AIRE approved riding establishment.

​Show Jumping is our specialty. We are home to Chippison, our homebred showjumping stallion who Marie successfully competed at top international shows such as Aachen and the World Equestrian Games.

We run weekly training shows (check our Facebook page for more info) along with a full calendar of Show Jumping Ireland events from January to November.

About CES HORSES

Here at Clare Equestrian, we breed many sport horses to suit all disciplines and riders. With many progeny coming from our top stallion, Chippison, we have been producing good tempered, quality horses.

All horses are bred and broken here, receiving an excellent education before being sold.

About Marie

Originally from Limerick, Marie is a top Irish international show jumper with a wealth of experience.

Having set up Clare Equestrian Centre, she regularly competes on the Irish circuit with many of her own homebred horses and also spends time coaching her students to be the next top showjumpers.

Some of Marie’s most notable achievements include:

  • Top Irish rider at the world championships in Aachen, 2006

  • Represented Ireland on 15 Nations Cup teams

  • Winner of the Longines Grand Prix in Hickstead

  • Winner of the 5 star Grand Prix in Dublin

  • 5 star Spruce Meadows

  • European Championships, 2007
